Assistance With Daily Living (NDIS)

NDIS Assistance with Daily Living provides support or supervision for personal tasks to help you live as independently as possible. These services can be provided in various settings, including your own home.

Our skilled and experienced team is here to help you find the right support at the right time.

If you're able to manage on your own but need some extra assistance with certain tasks, our daily living services can make that possible.

With Assistance with Daily Living, you stay in your own home while a team member from Challenge Disability Services visits you weekly for a few hours, depending on how much support you need.

We can assist you with:

  • Living Independently at Home: We support you in doing daily activities like cooking your favorite meals, simple cleaning to stay organized, or even setting up a vegetable garden. We’re here to help with many aspects of independent living.

  • Personal Care and Health: Assistance with personal hygiene, reminders for medication, and other health-related tasks to help you stay well.

  • Social Skills & Relationships: Support with making new friends, building social skills, and developing positive relationships.

  • Home Safety: Helping you learn how to stay safe at home, with as much or as little support as you need.

  • Skills & Goal Development: Assistance with skill-building and achieving personal goals, including financial management and budgeting.

  • Travel Training: Support with gaining the confidence to travel independently or transportation assistance if needed.

If you’re aged 18–65 and have an NDIS package, you can also participate in our community activities. We can assist with managing your finances, attending appointments, and providing general support.
