Recovery Coaching
A recovery coach supports people with psychosocial disabilities, which can result from mental health conditions like depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or anxiety disorders (e.g., PTSD, OCD). If you have a psychosocial disability, you may struggle with goal-setting, planning, or engaging in social or work activities.

A recovery coach works with you, your family, carers, and other support services to help you on your personal recovery journey. While similar to a support coordinator, a recovery coach focuses more on building skills for self-reliance, helping you gain confidence and control over your recovery.

Our recovery coaches are trained professionals with lived experience. They build trusting relationships to support your recovery. We’ll match you with a coach who respects your values and preferences, ensuring a personalized approach.
Together, we’ll create an individual recovery plan that complements your NDIS plan, which may include:

-
Identifying strengths and barriers
-
Recognizing areas where you can make choices
-
Identifying key support contacts
-
Setting short-term recovery goals
-
Finding resources and services to reach your goals
-
Managing NDIS supports and mental health services
